GoatTracker is a free software cross-platform tracker for creating Commodore 64 music (which are using MOS Technology 6581 and 8580 SID chips).
It is written by Lasse Öörni and uses the SDL library, thus making it portable.
While it is primarily for OSX, efforts have been made to port it to other platforms and formats.
GoatTracker shares several features with other tracker software, including:
- import and modification of instrument files
- track/pattern creation and modification
- pattern playback order
- alteration of song details such as title and author
- song playback and export to the sid (psid) format
- export to C64 executable

Works on Windows, Linux, Mac OS X (and an old version was compiled for Amiga)
