Hey man, just had a radio listen to your profile. I'm not really a fan of aussie hip hop but you should seriously consider switching careers :)
But seriously, NES classic was one my top votes for the trilogy, keep that shit up!
Hey Minerscale! I would love to create music. I used to years ago when I had my MTV music generator. I'd do covers, arrangements of premade riffs, and original compositions. I don't have any music software to compose on, though. Unless there is some free usermade ware I could download? i'm always looking for personal recommendations on that, because so much can be laced with spyware/malware.
Hey miner, just wanted to say thanks for the kind words. I did want to say a clarifying statement regarding perfectionism in music. I think in some ways it is healthy to always strive for beneficial critiques and use those to improve yourself and craft. For my experience personally (and the reason for why I said what I did in my description) I have let that process become unhealthy by not releasing anything and thus hindering my growth and change as an artist. I've kept it all in an echo chamber of my own perceptions and expectations. I certainly hope I can be free of those chains one day, but what I've learned recently from this site (and have learned this in the past) is that it's okay to be where you're at in your musical journey. There will always be someone to look up to, and someone you perceive as better. There is always someone who will point out the flaws. We are all really the same though when you boil it down. You're doing amazing just where you are at! Don't let anything get in the way of creating art for your own enjoyment, because it is never fun to be a creative slave to someone else's expectations.
Thanks for the encouraging words on my guitar, I really appreciate it. :)
