Yeah, this song is really cool. I'm so glad to see the Genesis getting a little more love now. You know that jazzy funk is always OK in my book. I appreciate how you use different leads for the melody throughout the song (FM and PSG), and the thick usage of PSG tones and noise.

Plus the sparkly lead is definitely a yes!

The vgm file plays the squares a little too loud on my phone's vgm player. But your mp3 render, sounds more balanced.

The harmonies, too, at certain parts are very good. Did you use any special mode techniques on this? Or maybe double note OP's?

@marcb0t: well i didnt use psg for lead, only for the chords haha :D (2 channels on the psg, 2 on the fm, using a fm instrument that sounded like a square wave)
it's weird the square sounds unbalanced on your player, because i *did* try to balance them - my mp3 render was made using in_vgm on winamp (which, i believe, is probably the most accurate plugin out there). what vgm player are you using, btw?
also no, i didnt use anything special on this. the .vge is on the description, if you wanna check it out. also i forgot to mention, but the vibraphone sound is from your ocean melody song. thank you ^o^

Nice PSG "Real Square" / FM "Fake Square" duet! I love the whole real/fake square dynamic that you find in the Genesis! I did a whole NNR blog post about it! But yes, I especially like when the two work in concert like this! Such as "Federal Patrol Office" from Star Cruiser!
