afair that pmd to vgm converter bases itself off pmdwin stuff, which has too high SSG frequencies, so I'd adivse you not to.

@MiDoRi the closest to that is convert .M2 to .S98
, but as MM1 said, it's based on PMDWIN, so the emulation is inaccurate
