It seems like another day in the TEXT OS that this old computer runs on...until letters went missing.

Only one letter stands up to the challenge, and he is Oh the brave O. As he explores the Computer, he discovers that the villain behind all of this is the nefarious Mr. Viruz. Can Oh beat Mr. Viruz and bring the letters and the whole OS back to it's previous peaceful state? That's only for you to decide in Letterquest.

Ok, hooooooooly fliperoni this had to be the most stress-inducing thing I've had to do for a while. I honestly can't thank DaJoshy and Tobikomi enough for being part of the team, without this I couldn't have made such a game like this. Joshy was on music (this is imo some of his best work ever, pay respects, and Tobikomi was on graphics (and gave the idea for Mr. Viruz!) And I was on block code programming this time in Game Maker Studio, and also designed the levels and all the other smaller graphics in everyone's favorite program, Notepad! Sorry for the huge description haha, it's 4:30 am, I've been at it for 6 hours and finally finished. Enjoy the game! \.o./

Welp, during stream, the game crashed for Azu. :<
Also, TIL that the spikes are broken in the HTML5 export. ;-;
So, here's a compiled Windows export of the game, that would work 100%, I promise. :p Enjoy! For real, this time! \.o./

edit : reuploaded with an exe that isn't an installer. :p

Nice idea to have the text be gone and have you go ou and "save" the letters. The letter b also showing how to beat the boss was clever as well.

Great music to accompany, though the sounds effects weren't processed like the jumping which only works on ground, you could easily spam the jumping sound effect and the walking sounds effect would be cut off completely by it or stay on during cutscenes (and credits).

Some platforms were a bit too pixel perfect, I think some people would find rather frustrating, though I didn't have any trouble with them.

All in all, great work!

Thank you, Maximemoring! I would agree that there were a couple instances where the jumps were a bit too precise. I probably should have told Quirby that before we uploaded the game. I have no idea why some of those sound issues were there, like how the walking sound effect staying on during cutscenes. We probaby should have tested the game more before submitting. But hey, we at least made something. I'm glad that you enjoyed our game.

Yeah, the final boss fight seems to crash for everyone. D:

The Windows version works, tho! :>
