Rougelike written in ES6 with rot.js and soundjs.

Please, read the included readme.html for controls.

The source code is in the /src folder. If you want to mess around with it, you'll need to grab Babel and it's "env" plugin, and then transpile it to the lib folder.

I fully intend to maintain this game in the future.

Anytime I loot anything, it "crashes" (needing to press x a bunch of times and move to see anything).

There is apparently no way to wait, or strategize as enemies always hit you first. If the game has any kind of progression, there is no way to know, as enemies will kill inevitably kill you eventually.

Sometimes the dungeon is empty, sometimes it has 5 enemies in your room, and stairs aren't linked in any way between levels. You just drop down to a random point in another random dungeon with no way back up.

Having played many, many roguelikes and tried making one myself, this is as barebones as it gets.

I'm sorry I'm being blunt, but that's just how it is.

Could be neat, but it's kind of really, really buggy.
Screen doesn't redraw at all sometimes.

All the music was made using only a Minimoog and a Strymon El Capistan echo pedal.

Thanks for the comments. I'm aware that there are many problems with it, especially when it comes to balance (read: there is no balance, or really progression for that matter).

In some of the latter stages, there was no consideration for players or any sort of fun level, only a drive to finish what I had at the time (not a lot).

Again, thanks for the criticism - I plan on updating it sometime this/next week to fix balance and scaling, and make more believable enemy AI.

i didn't have any problems with crashes, but the visual bugs (lack of redrawing) were annoying. other than that, maxi roughly summarized my thoughts.

Pretty much the only bugs that ruin it are the random times you destroy inventory and no way to restart because your health stays negative. Otherwise, I wouldn't mind finding a way to reach 30 as is.
