i was expecting something a little less wholesome from those brief lunar-esque interludes~ it ends up leading me into sections with a bit more of a cinematic feel than fack-fusion
i spent like thirty minutes trying to get down my thoughts about this piece and kept rewriting it out of frustration, haha. i sense a craft that is far in excess of my own in a lot of your music but its temperate qualities somehow frustrate me even more because of it
...i guess i feel like it never goes "full-throttle" (train joke, ha ha)?? would've loved for one of the interludes to lead me into something wild, but it seems to lead me back into a very nice pop section instead. it never seems to lose control over itself, but it never seems to*try* to lose control over itself either
don't worry, I will get wilder once I get more familiar with the tracker interface - being so used to score-based writing, this kind of interface forces me into an entirely different way of writing, where I need to think things through much more before putting anything down, and where it's harder for me to just go off on a tangent at whim to see what happens, because it takes so much more concentration and effort to write.
