Still locked up at home during the summer, wishing for it to end so I can have the nice mildness of Autumn.

Made in FL Studio 12 (using C700 and BRSO Articulate) and ported to SPC by Harumi~

How do you port a fl stem into .spc?? Is the answer 'with great difficulty?'

i gave the flp to harumi and she converted it to spc using AMK

it is not a 'stem', it is just sequenced midi for a VST closely emulating the spc700 [including echo, gauss filter, aram], nothing complicated

Does the conversion use the actual samples used in your original FL file, just out of curiosity?

This kind of conversion reminds me of a few of my Harmony Assistant songs... only in this case, I manually did the conversions and optimizations because I wasn't being very SNES-minded back then (mainly in the sample selection... and properly shrinking them!).

the samples indeed are what i used in the original FL project

C700, emulating the SPC700 lets you load in your own files and converts them into brr, which is very useful for this sorta thing

Now that the MP3's up I affirm: sounds really good! Is that the Shin Megami Tensei choir sample I hear? Reminds me of Sparkster too actually...

That choir actually comes from Hourai Gakuen no Bouken, I believe. The bass also comes from Biker Mice From Mars, and the Crash/Ride cymbals are from Megaman 7. I think that's about it as far as pulling from game samples, though.

i had to write the MML, i didn't have to do any transcribing myself however, just tuning the instruments at most.
