Incidentally, this game has a couple cheat codes, once somebody else beats the game I'll reveal them.

nice, completed it in 14 minutes 51 seconds with 25 coins which only took 37 deaths... (i'm not very good sry)

it's a cool game, reminds me a bit of vvvvvv in terms of gameplay and I did notice reference to it as well so that's pretty neat

good 4 u

As promised, here's the cheat codes.
On the title screen, hold Y (S if you're using a keyboard) and enter the following:
Up, Right, Down, Up, Down: Invincibility
Up, Down, Up, Down, Up, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left: All powerups
Up, Up, Down, Down, Right, Left, Up, Down: Debug mode (enables debug keys, check the source code to see them)

EDIT: Oh yeah, the game acknowledges if you beat it with cheats, so play it legit first maybe?

nice job, but i thought the design choice of having borderless tiles be tiles that you can "walk through" was pretty unclear (specifically in the "replaying the tutorial" room), because they looked the same as the other ones.

Uncommon platformer-genre, I like it. Graphics all amazing (especially the snow-particles and the water-level wave-shader on the textures), nothing to complain about :D. Though the snow-world music kinda gets too loud in some cases. It's a little mediocre, but so it is with all platformer games in 8-bit style, one or another thing only being different. But that is the least matter, I still like it! :D
