Im gonna defend myself here ;)
BoyScout says it is indeed Gameboy Advance, however it only uses the features for a regular gameboy,

gameboy advance features PCM channels, and this is
just the usage of the regular Gameboy chip.

(i have no idea though why they say that Boyscout is
GBA, as there is no way to really compose GBA music on it anyways).

Of course, I'm kidding. It really doesn't seem to matter what gear you use, it always sounds better than it should! At this point, knowing your skills, I wouldn't have been too surprised if you said you made that track by rubbing 2 pieces of copper wire together. ;)
