"Bean stalk loops take you to the high-in-the-sky gardens of Gardée Grove Zone. Watch out for those April showers; a freak weather change here can do more than get your clothes wet."

Going for a 16 bit Sonic vibe with this one. Some fun frequency modulation; the song itself has two phases, reminiscent of the 2 act structure found in some of the later titles, onward from Sonic 3.
The track is set during Spring; bouncy shrubs, beanstalks, and sudden changes in weather.

Really dig the 2 act structure! Instruments really vibe with the Spring feeling given how bumpin' they are

Thanks Ethlial; first time entering a botb battle. Was thinking along the lines of Mushroom Hill Zone, with the first half. Glad to hear the swing of act 1 worked.

Thank ye indeed KaizokuFish. If thou wants to meddle more in the dark arts of frequency modulation, I deeply recommend watching a couple of "Mega Drive oscilloscope deconstruction" videos on YouTube.
Would love to see someone such as yourself put it to good use; enjoy your track "caught asleep on a soil mattress".

Sure thing :D usually export in lossless anyway. And thanks a bunch! Still getting used to Botb's setup; what would the best way be, to present a downloadable FLAC file? Was gonna upload it to Soundcloud, so could maybe make the download option available there, but I'm not sure how much Soundcloud lower the quality.

idk about soundclown, but the usual way people sharing hq renders of allgear or wildchip entries is through platforms like dropbox, google drive, bandcamp, idk, etc, and so on. it doesnt really matter. for other formats, since the source file is uploaded, people could render their lossless file themself

Ah, of course Blandcamp. Ya, I'll get the track on there in lossless format, send a link this way when I've got it up.

Love Act 2! The motifs and themes on Act 1 were a little difficult for me to pick up so when Act 2 hit, I couldn't really hear them echoed, but I enjoyed myself. After the rain, does the Guarded Grove sprout mushrooms in its hills? Because you definitely worked in some hints ;)

Thanks McSloop! : D Yeah, a few returning motifs but much of it is new.

Was thinking along those exact lines; foliage, mushrooms and general plant-life sprouting and developing rapidly, something akin to Lost Jungle Zone from Sonic Heroes I guess.
Meant to reply sooner, thanks for the in depth comment!
