no melody only arpeggios. Arpeggios are nice but it lacks a lead melody. The song remains unfinished.

I see where you're coming from, but I'm more interested in harmony rather than melody in my writing I guess. The next piece I do I'll try to be more melodic. Oscar Wilde said that “to be understood is to be found out.”, and I guess the quikest way to be understood is to write a proper melody, so it's something I'm afraid of (writing good melodies is haaaaaaard!)
