This is for anyone who's been wondering how my postgrad composition degree has been going! I've almost finished my first year. I've had three pieces premiere just in the last week or two, by three different ensembles. I thought I'd post one of the recordings here now, as it's probably the best out of the three. It's a fun little thing I wrote for a chamber ensemble (flute, clarinet, percussion, 2 violins, viola, cello, doublebass), performed by members from the Royal Scottish National Orchestra. A few accidentals missed here and there, a few mistakes/people getting lost, and a few parts weren't played quite how I'd had them in my head, but we had very limited rehearsal time.

I didn't ask! They seemed to enjoy it though.
